BIG I SUFFOLK
The fundamental purpose and objective of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Suffolk County association are to promote and represent the common business interests of independent insurance agents within the industry. The association promotes high standards of conduct in the transaction of the insurance business as well as the promotion of education among its members. We communicate and promote the benefits of purchasing insurance from independent agents and generally encourage understanding, cooperation, and good relations among its members, the insurance industry, the government, and the public.
BIG I TRI-COUNTY
The TriCounty Independent Insurance Agents Association is comprised of independent agents in Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island counties in the greater New York area. Tri-County is the largest Big “I” local association in New York representing more than 250 independent agencies and brokerages. The not-for-profit trade association continues its advocacy for legislative insurance issues, continuing education, and many other means of industry support. In addition, many members of TriCounty proudly identify themselves as Trusted Choice agents and brokers, a national consumer brand uniting more than 21,000 independent agencies across the United States.
CIBGNY
The Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York, Inc. (“CIBGNY”) is a leading professional trade association representing independent brokers in the major metropolitan region of New York State. CIBGNY members come from all New York City Boroughs, Long Island, Westchester & Rockland Counties.
CPCU
The CPCU Society is a community of credentialed risk management and property-casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education. The Society’s more than 22,000 members hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation, which requires passing rigorous undergraduate- and graduate-level examinations, meeting an experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics. The CPCU designation is conferred by The Institutes.
Founded in 1944, the CPCU Society, through continuing education and volunteer leadership opportunities, is dedicated to meeting the career development needs of its diverse membership, so that they may serve others in a competent and ethical manner.
IBANY
For more than a century, the Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York (IBANY) has represented the interests of the New York Metro insurance marketplace. Overseen by a volunteer board of highly influential brokers, IBANY provides a platform for education, professional development, and networking, serving all generations of the insurance industry, including top-level executives, experienced professionals, and emerging leaders.
IPALI
IPALI members are agency, company, and self-employed insurance professionals with common goals. Our association hopes to incorporate the ideas and strengths of our members to make our industry prosper.

Professional Insurance Agents is a voluntary, membership-based trade association representing professional, independent property/casualty insurance agents.

QCIP
QCIP’s Mission:
To promote, foster, and advance in every lawful manner, the common interests and goals of those engaged in the insurance industry in Queens County;
To cement and solidify friendly relations, good fellowship, and cooperation among insurance professionals in Queens county;
To further and enhance the knowledge, experience, and current learning and techniques of those engaged in the insurance industry.
